Melissa Benoist and Chris Wood Look Over-the-Moon In Love at the Supergirl 100th Episode Celebration
Could these two look any more in love with each other? Supergirl star Melissa Benoist and husband Chris Wood looked head over heels for one another while attending the red carpet for the show's 100th episode celebration at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel on Saturday, Dec. 14 in Vancouver, Canada.  The 31-year-old actress, who plays Supergirl in the show by the same name, wore a flirty off-shoulder silver dress with her hair in a loose bun with curtain bangs gracefully accentuating her face. Benoist was joined by her husband and former co-star on Supergirl and the two looked so in love. While posing for pictures, the couple was all smiles as they walked into the 100th episode...

Legacies' Danielle Rose Russell Reacts to Landon's 'Choice,' Ponders That Twisted Riddle: 'Be Very Concerned'
Legacies‘ latest supernatural visitor turned out to be a real know-it-all.

The legendary Sphinx popped up — as so many Malivore monsters do — in the heart of Mystic Falls on Thursday, interrupting an awkward conversation between Hope, Josie and Lizzie, the latter of whom did her best to ease the tensions between Landon’s scorned love interests. (“For the two of you not to be talking to each other just because you’re competing for the love of the same garden gnome, I think we’re more evolved than that as women.”)

Support for Supergirl actress Melissa Benoist’s confession of past domestic abuse has now extended to an online hashtag, #IStandWIthMelissa, and a challenge from her husband, Chris Wood, who asked his online followers, “How do You show love?”

Benoist publicly revealed earlier this week that she is domestic abuse survivor. She did not name her abuser, but Wood is her second husband of just a few months, whom she wed over this year’s Labor Day weekend.

On Thursday, Wood used the viral hashtag #IStandWithMelissa in a tweet to wish followers a happy Thanksgiving.

“Happy Thanksgiving! I’m going to kiss my wife and hold her tenderly,” he tweeted. “All day. And every day. How do You show love?”

Benoist raised her domestic abuse allegations in an emotional video on Instagram on Wednesday. She claimed that she was a survivor of domestic violence, enduring months of abuse from a romantic partner.

“Supergirl” star Melissa Benoist on Wednesday accused an unnamed ex of repeated acts of domestic violence, including an incident in which she said he threw a phone at her face that tore her iris, lacerated her skin and broke her nose.

“I am a survivor of domestic violence, or IPV, intimate partner violence, which is something I never in my life expected I would say, let alone be broadcasting into the ether,” the actress read aloud in a 14-minute video posted to her Instagram account, which you can view above.

Around the 9-minute mark in the video, Benoist details an experience in which she said her former partner threw his iPhone at her face. “The impact tore my iris, nearly ruptured my eyeball, lacerated my skin and broke my nose,” she said. “My left eye swelled shut, I had a fat lip, blood was coursing down my face and I can remember immediately screaming at the top of my lungs.”

Ian Somerhalder Would Love to Appear on Tvd Spinoff, Legacies, but Not as Damon Salvatore

  • Popsugar
Ian Somerhalder is set to star on Netflix's upcoming vampire drama, V Wars, but he's not entirely against returning to his Vampire Diaries roots. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 40-year-old actor toyed with the idea of appearing on Tvd spinoff, Legacies.

While he wouldn't want to reprise his role as vampire-turned-human, Damon Salvatore, he would definitely love to direct an episode. "I actually would love to talk to Jules [The Vampire Diaries creator Julie Plec]. I would love to go and direct one of [the Legacies episodes]," Somerhalder said. "Because I know Paul [Wesley] went to do it, and he called me, and he's like, 'Bro, this is f*cking crazy.' Because it's all of our old sets, which is a time warp, 10 years ago. He's just going, 'Dude!' He was actually kind of emotional about it, he goes 'This is crazy!'"

"We spent eight years on the show,

Legacies Ep on Hope's Latest Sacrifice and Vardemus' Jaw-Dropping Reveal — Plus, Find Out Who's Visiting Freya

Legacies Ep on Hope's Latest Sacrifice and Vardemus' Jaw-Dropping Reveal — Plus, Find Out Who's Visiting Freya
Thursday’s Legacies revealed that someone at the Salvatore School is not who they appear to be — which is saying a lot, considering a good portion of the student body is made up of literal werewolves.

While Lizzie and Hope battled their way through an alternate reality based on the hits of the 1980s (killing a minotaur in the process!), their fellow classmates navigated a different type of battlefield at the Salvatore School’s ’80s decade dance. Most notably, Josie and Landon almost had sex for the first time, though Josie pumped the brakes when she discovered a song Landon

Ian Somerhalder Responds to Surprise Legacies Reference

Ian Somerhalder may be done playing Damon Salvatore, but The Vampire Diaries universe is not over.

If you watch Legacies online, you know there have been hints about Damon and Elena living their life together in Mystic Falls after being reunited on the series finale of The Vampire Diaries.

On Legacies Season 1 Episode 10, Lizzie made a wish that the Salvatore School created for gifted children never existed.

As a result, Lizzie and Josie were forced to attend Mystic Falls High, aka the school that Elena attended.

Once there, it emerged that Stefanie Salvatore existed, and it sent fans into a flurry because Delena's name for their child was an ode to her fallen uncle Stefan, who sacrificed himself.

However, Stefanie has never been referenced outside of the episode, so it's possible that she was only created in that timeline.

Somerhalder has now admitted that he is liking that this third

He's Back! Chris Wood Is Reprising His Role as Kai Parker on Legacies

  • Popsugar
Mystic Falls is about to get even more chaotic, because Kai Parker is back! Chris Wood is officially reprising his Vampire Diaries role in the second season of Legacies, Entertainment Weekly confirms. The villainous character first appeared on Tvd's sixth and seventh seasons before returning for a three-episode arc in the final season. He is infamous for killing his twin sister and his entire Gemini coven, as well as putting Elena Gilbert under a sleeping curse.

The last we saw of the witch-turned-vampire, he was safely locked away in a prison world created by Bonnie Bennett and Alaric Saltzman's twins, aka Kai's nieces. Seeing that the first season of Legacies ends with Josie and Lizzie Saltzman finding the Ascendant, which is the key to Kai's prison world, it seems like they might be to blame for his potential release. We can't wait to see how this turns out!

Legacies Recap: Remember Me? (Plus, a Tvd Fave Finally Shows His Face!)
A series of game-changing truth bombs were dropped on Thursday’s Legacies, from romantic revelations to supernatural secrets. Just another week at the Salvatore School.

This week’s episode introduced us to an ancient samurai warrior named Kurutta, who suddenly appeared in Mystic Falls’ town square after being absorbed by Malivore more than 700 years earlier. Kurutta had been possessed by an evil Japanese spirit known as an oni, which could transfer itself from host to host through a simple touch. For this reason, Kurutta vowed to avoid all human contact for the rest of his days — that is, until Malivore came along and ruined everything.
