Austin is an Equity and SAG-AFTRA actor-producer who has worked professionally for over a decade on stage and screen. Austin graduated Summa Cum Laude from Loyola Marymount University's School of Film and Television in L.A. While there, he directed an award-winning musical short "Parent Teacher - The Musical" which screened at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
Austin was raised far from the big city, in Fort Smith, AR, and Branson, MO, where he fell in love with the arts as a kid. When he was twelve years old, Austin began performing twelve shows a week, nine months a year in various Broadway-style musicals at The Mansion Theatre including "Cathy Rigby is Peter Pan," the Tony-Nominated, Emmy Award-Winning Broadway musical. In 2010 Austin moved to Los Angeles where he worked with professional representation, performed with The Walt Disney Company at Disneyland Resort, and wrapped a leading role in feature film musical drama "Broken: A Musical" featuring Judge Reinhold (Beverly Hills Cop). Among many exhilarating producing experiences, Austin co-produced a Doritos commercial with Paxeros Creative called "Elephant In The Room" that received national television broadcast. Just before relocating to New York City in 2018, Austin wrapped a featured role in feature film thriller "The Riot Act" starring Brett Cullen (The Dark Knight, Joker) that played a limited theatrical release nationwide.
A highlight adventure to date was joining the company of "MAMMA MIA!" for 16 months, 165 cities, and 381 performances, closing the last original Broadway production in North America as junior principal role Pepper. More recently, Austin sailed on Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas as featured role Gus and understudy of principal role Bobby C in Broadway musical "Saturday Night Fever."
