Musician Reid Perry from the Grammy-award winning country group The Band Perry has undergone an emergency appendectomy.

Perry, 28, documented the trip to the hospital on his Instagram Stories, starting with a photo which appeared to show him arriving at the UCLA Emergency Department. “Kind of a bad time for this to happen right now,” Perry wrote over the image of a UCLA sign, circling the word “emergency.”

Celebrity Fight Night announced today that the legendary Sir Elton John and the world-renowned tenor, Andrea Bocelli, will take the stage at the historic Colosseum in Rome on Friday, September 8th for a special musical event as part of this year’s “Celebrity Fight Night in Italy.”

The newly announced gala concert will also feature performances by musical icons such as Steven Tyler and David Foster. Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Nina Agdal, enjoyed a quiet dinner at Zuma in New York City on Wednesday. The cute couple dined alongside Sean Penn and rapper Q-Tip, sharing sushi plates of Zuma’s Robata grilled fare and rounds of cocktails.

While DiCaprio and crew grabbed a bite in the Big Apple, the happily uncoupled Jennie Garth and her ex-husband, Peter Facinelli, brought their significant others along for a family vacation at the recently opened Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico. The tropical getaway was Garth and Facinelli’s first vacay together since their 2013 divorce, alongside their daughters, Lola, 14, and Fiona, 10.

They all enjoyed the resort's Unlimited Luxury amenities, including pampering at the Dreams Spa by Pevonia, riding down the resor's awesome water slides ,parasailing, gourmet dining at on-site restaurant Gaucho and plenty of ice cream. The musician's manager confirmed the singer and actor's death to the Associated Press . Merle Haggard's health had been failing in recent months, as he battled double pneumonia. He was forced to cancel a number of concerts over the past few months due to his health. The musician's son, Ben Haggard, released a statement on his Facebook page earlier today, revealing that his father had actually predicted he would die on his birthday.
