Her friendship with the hero soon sprouted into a romance during their trip to Europe in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Michelle is one of the few people who know about her boyfriend’s alter ego, too, and as the franchise moves forward, fans are excited to get to watch their relationship continue to evolve. Given how things left off between them at the end of the last flick though, it’s anyone’s guess as to what will happen next.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige Adds Marvel Chief Creative Officer Title; He’ll Oversee All Creative & Story Initiatives

  • Deadline
Exclusive: A major structural shift is taking place at Marvel. As the brand looks to put even more of its stamp on The Walt Disney Company with the upcoming launch of Disney +, all of Marvel’s creative personnel is moving under Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. Deadline hears that Feige is adding the title of Chief Creative Officer, Marvel, to his title. What that means for the brand is that all the company’s key creative executives across film and TV will now report to him, sources said. Already master of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Feige’s oversight will extend to the overall creative direction of Marvel’s storytelling and content creation platforms. As part of this, Marvel TV and animation generator Marvel Family Entertainment will move under Feige’s Marvel Studios banner.

I’ve heard this move is being finalized this week, and it makes strong sense that

‘Venom’ Director Confirms Tom Hardy Franchise Building to Spider-Man Crossover

‘Venom’ Director Confirms Tom Hardy Franchise Building to Spider-Man Crossover
Tom Hardy and Tom Holland will be facing off on the big screen as Venom and Spider-Man, at least according to “Venom” director Ruben Fleischer. The filmmaker is currently making the press rounds in support of his new action comedy “Zombieland: Double Tap” and confirmed to Fandom that the plan for Hardy’s “Venom” franchise from the beginning has been for it to build to a “Spider-Man” crossover movie.

“That’s where it’s all going to lead,” Fleischer said. “And that’s the exciting thing, because we changed the origin of Venom [for the first movie]. In the comics, he evolved from Spider-Man but because of the Marvel-Sony thing we weren’t able to do that. And so the thing I think it’s building towards, and will be exciting to see, is when they actually do confront each other.”

Fleischer’s involvement with “Zombieland: Double Tap” prevented him from taking on the “Venom” sequel,

Chris Hemsworth Wants Three Amigos! Remake with Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. & Himself
Avengers: Endgame marked the last time star Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, and Robert Downey Jr. will all headline a movie together for the foreseeable future, but Hemsworth likes the idea of the three reuniting for a modern take on the cult classic comedy Three Amigos!.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actors are of course well-known for playing the beloved superheroes Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man. After appearing in many of their own movies, the three would co-star in many McU crossovers, most notably in the Avengers series. Now, Chris Hemsworth believes their on-screen chemistry could carry over well to a comedy along the lines of a new version of Three Amigos.

"That was so sad about kind of finishing Endgame, was just 'Were we ever going to get to hang out again?' And I immediately started thinking 'What else could we do?'" Hemsworth told fans at Ace Comic-Con Chicago.

Carnage To Get Some Company As Sony Adds New Villain To Venom 2

2018’s Venom may have disappointed critics but audiences loved it. The film grossed $856 million at the box office, making that teaser scene featuring Woody Harrelson’s Cletus Kasady/Carnage certain to lead to a sequel. But for a while, things went quiet on Venom 2. In retrospect, this may have been a result of behind-the-scenes negotiations on the future of Spider-Man in the McU, but we now know that the film is set to shoot early next year and is targeting an October 1st, 2020 release date.

We also now have an indication as to who else will be in the movie, as Deadline is reporting that “two sources close to the project” have told them that Shriek will feature as the pic’s second villain. First appearing in 1993, Shriek is Carnage’s lover, an insane supervillainess with psychic abilities and sound manipulation powers that make her a deadly foe for any symbiote.

Doctor Strange May Show Up In Spider-Man 3

After having Tony Stark and Nick Fury in the past two films, respectively, it stands to reason that Spider-Man 3 will pair Tom Holland’s web-slinger up with another key player in the McU. This is something that We Got This Covered has recently been able to confirm with our sources as well – the same ones who said General Ross would return in the She-Hulk series, which was backed up by trusted industry insider Daniel Rpk a few days ago, and that Wiccan will feature in WandaVision, which has also been confirmed.

According to them, “a major Avenger” will team up with Spidey the next time around. Ms. Marvel, fresh off her own Disney Plus series, is one option, but we can see the slot going to one of the other two heroes that we were informed are in consideration: Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) or Doctor Strange (Bendict Cumberbatch).

Director Ruben Fleischer Says Venom is Leading To a Confrontation with Spider-Man

While Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are working on two more Spider-Man film projects together, Venom director Ruben Fleischer believes that everything is leading to Tom Holland’s Spider-Man facing off with Tom Hardy’s Venom.

Ever since Sony started developing Venom, fans have been wondering if Holland’s Spider-Man will eventually make his way into Sony’s Spider-Verse. If Disney can’t buy Spider-Man from Sony, I imagine the answer to that question is yes. Once Spider-Man is fully back in the hands of Sony, he will be introduced to the cinematic universe they are building.

During a recent interview with Fandom, Fleischer explains that that’s where this is all headed:

“That’s where it’s all going to lead. And that’s the exciting thing, because we changed the origin of Venom … in the comics, he evolved from Spider-Man but because of the Marvel-Sony thing we weren’t able to that.

Venom Director Confirms That Spider-Man And Venom Will Crossover

In the wake of the recent drama between Sony and Disney over the future of Spider-Man, the dynamic between the two companies has seemingly changed, meaning that while Tom Holland’s web-slinger is still set to return for future McU movies, it’s also believed that he’ll eventually show up in Sony’s own cinematic universe.

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige already hinted as such in a recent interview with Variety, when he remarked that Spider-Man is “the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes.” But if that wasn’t an obvious enough tease for you, Venom director Ruben Fleischer has now confirmed in an interview with Fandom that Holland’s Peter Parker will some day cross paths with Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock:

“That’s where it’s all going to lead. And that’s the exciting thing, because we changed the origin of Venom … in the comics,
