Hawaii Five-0 Adds Katrina Law as Series Regular for Season 10

CBS’ Hawaii Five-0 has set its sights on Katrina Law, adding the Arrow alum to its Season 10 cast as a series regular.

TVLine has learned that Law will play Quinn Liu, a former Staff Sergeant with Army Cid who was recently demoted for insubordination. After an explosive collision with Five-0 during a case involving veterans, Quinn becomes a loyal ally to the team. Sharp-tongued in several languages, she has a deep understanding of military culture, a mysterious past and a deft ability to match wits with McGarrett (played by Alex O’Loughlin).

A key team member is taking a little break from NCIS: Los Angeles. TVInsider reports Barrett Foa will not appear in part of the CBS TV show's 11th season.

Yet another Big Brother houseguest returned to the outside world on Thursday — but he didn’t exactly get a warm welcome.

Jack Matthews was booted from the Bb house during Thursday’s live eviction show, becoming the first member of the Season 21 jury. But upon getting evicted, Matthews was forced to confront several derogatory and/or racist remarks he had made about his fellow houseguests, several of which prompted backlash on social media after they were broadcast on the 24/7 live feeds in recent weeks.

Fresh off the news that Arrow is bringing back a lot of stars for its eighth and final season, it has been revealed that another actor is exiting as a series regular.

According to Green Arrow TV, Colton Haynes is out of the CW drama, but showrunner, Beth Schwartz told the outlet that "we hope to have him back."

The news did not go down well with fans of the show, primarily because there was some confusion about whether Haynes was the one who made the decision.

However, the actor took to Twitter on Thursday to set the record straight.

NCIS: La Season 11: Barrett Foa Taking Temporary Leave of Absence — Find Out What This Means For Eric

NCIS: Los Angeles is sending Eric on a high-risk adventure in order to accommodate portrayer Barrett Foa‘s temporary exit.

TVLine has learned that the CBS procedural is writing Foa out of five of Season 11’s first six episodes to allow the actor to pursue another professional opportunity. (Foa is set to star in a production of Angels in America at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis this fall.)

‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ and ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Renewed at CBS

CBS has renewed “NCIS: Los Angeles” for an 11th season, and “NCIS: New Orleans” for a sixth season.

Both action drama are spinoffs of “NCIS,” which was renewed in early April. “NCIS: Los Angeles” follows a Naval Criminal Investigative Service division based in the City of Angels that is tasked with catching dangerous and elusive criminals who pose a threat to national security. It stars Chris O’Donnell as Special Agent G. Callen, a chameleon who can skillfully blend in with and infiltrate the criminal underworld, and LL Cool J as Special Agent Sam Hanna, a former U.S. Navy Seal who has seen action in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The series also stars Linda Hunt, Daniela Ruah, Eric Christian Olsen, Barrett Foa, and Renee Felice Smith as members of this elite force. R. Scott Gemmill, John P. Kousakis, and Frank Military executive produce the show, with CBS Television Studios producing.

‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ & ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Renewed By CBS

As expected, CBS has renewed NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans for the 2019-20 season. NCIS: Los Angeles will be back for an eleventh season, NCIS: New Orleans for a sixth. The pickups follow the recent renewal of the mothership series NCIS as CBS is keeping the CBS TV Studios-produced crime procedural franchise intact. The casts of both NCIS spinoffs are expected to return.

NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans are the latest CBS series to be picked up for next season. In addition to NCIS, the network has also renewed Young Sheldon, Mom, Criminal Minds, Blue Bloods and freshmen FBI, God Friended Me, The Neighborhood and Magnum P.I. The network’s Bull, Seal Team and S.W.A.T. appear to be in good shape, while Madam Secretary, MacGyver and Happy Together are on the bubble.

1967: Love is a Many Splendored Thing premiered on CBS. The network, which hadn't premiered a soap in seven years, enlisted Irna Phillips in adapting a serial very loosely from a famous novel and movie. Love is a Many Splendored Thing concerned the in-laws of the book's protagonist Mark Elliot, who intermarried with other surrounding families in San Francisco. A stylish and refreshing story, it was a fabulous stepping stone for David Birney, Donna Mills and Leslie Charleson, all beautiful and talented young performers.
