New Official Trailer for Horror 'The Hollow Child' About a Scary Forest

"What are they?" "The hollow ones... They're watching." Vertical Entertainment has debuted an official Us trailer for a horror film titled The Hollow Child, the feature directorial debut of Jeremy Lutter. Inspired a bit by a folklore tale about children-snatching trolls who secretly hide in the forest, the film is about a foster family that realizes something is wrong with one of them. A troubled foster teen, Samantha, works to expose a dangerous supernatural impostor in her new family and rescue her foster sister. The cast includes Jessica McLeod, Hannah Cheramy, John Emmet Tracy, Jana Mitsoula, Genevieve Buechner, Connor Stanhope, and Johannah Newmarch. This does look like a solid, very eerie forest horror. Dianna Agron in First Trailer for Mystery Thriller 'Hollow in the Land'

"Do you think he could've done it?" Vertical Entertainment has unveiled the first official trailer for an indie mystery thriller titled Hollow in the Land, the feature directorial debut of Canadian filmmaker Scooter Corkle. Hollow in the Land is a small-town murder mystery thriller starring Dianna Agron as a woman who decides track down her brother to clear his name after being blamed for a crime he didn't commit. There seems to be a few other twists and turns, as expect, in this film described as "Winter's Bone-meets-'Making a Murderer'". The full cast includes Jared Abrahamson, Shawn Ashmore, Rachelle Lefevre, Sarah Dugdale, Jessica McLeod and Michael Rogers. This looks quite solid, perhaps a strong debut for Corkle. It also seems like another chance for Agron to show how talented she is, leading the entire film. Here's the first official trailer for Scooter Corkle's Hollow in the Land,

Scary Movie 4 (Blu-ray)

Starring: Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Jessica McLeod

Director: David Zucker

The Scoop: (2006) Someone in marketing is getting a big raise for the decision to release this on Blu-ray just in time for "Scream 4" to hit theaters. There's not a whole lot to say about it -- it's basically the exact same thing as the first three "Scary Movie" films, which is to say a bunch of random parody skits slapped together -- but it does feature Anna Faris, which is reason enough to watch.

Special Features: Deleted scenes, interviews, blooper reel, featurettes

Rated PG-13, 83 min. | Watch the trailer
