More than two decades have passed since Sarah Connor prevented Judgment Day, changed the future, and re-wrote the fate of the human race. Dani’s survival depends on her joining forces with two warriors: Grace (Mackenzie Davis), an enhanced super-soldier from the future, and a battle-hardened Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton). Terminator: Dark Fate First Reactions Call It the Best Sequel Since T2: Judgment Day
The early reactions to Terminator: Dark Fate are in and it's been called a return to form. Surprise screenings were held over the weekend for fans who believed they were seeing Terminator 2: Judgment Day. With James Cameron back on board alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton, fans were expecting something exciting. Throughout the years, the installments after T2 have been a mixed bag, so seeing the original crew reunite brought some pressure to the project. Thankfully, it looks like they did what they wanted to achieve.

One of the more interesting early reactions to Terminator: Dark Fate is a comparison to The Force Awakens. It's "A satisfying, exciting reboot that's essentially the best parts of T1 and T2 in a blender," according to one opinion, which makes sense with the Star Wars comparison. However, that might not sit so well with some of the people who are not into the latest Star Wars trilogy.

Terminator: Dark Fate - First Reactions Arrive

Kirsten Howard Oct 21, 2019

Terminator: Dark Fate is the best one since T2, apparently.

Terminator: Dark Fate will arrive on Nov. 1, and it sees a return to the franchise for original final girl Linda Hamilton and her Judgment Day co-star, Edward Furlong (at least briefly). Deadpool director Tim Miller rose to the challenge of reviving the Terminator series under the watchful eye of producer James Cameron, and the film also has some new blood in the form of Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Natalia Reyes, and Diego Boneta.

After Terminator: Salvation and Terminator: Genysis were poorly received - though we maintain it's pretty hard to be mad at a movie about killer robots smashing stuff up for the most part - have Miller, Cameron and Hamilton managed to breathe new life into the series with Dark Fate? According to the first reactions, which have been pouring onto social media, the answer is "yes.

First Dark Fate Reactions Call It The Best Terminator Movie Since T2

It’s almost inevitable that every valuable property in Hollywood is going to be rebooted eventually, but the producers behind the Terminator franchise seem to be trying especially hard in this regard. The upcoming sixth outing for the series, Terminator: Dark Fate, will be the third hybrid of reboot we’ve seen in ten years, but given that it’s set to be the spiritual successor to James Cameron’s iconic sci-fi sequel Judgment Day, hopes are high that it’ll be a success.

Of course, it’s not like we haven’t had high hopes before only to be incredibly disappointed. After all, both Salvation and Genisys were touted as having the potential to spawn new storytelling opportunities and ultimately, new franchises, but both movies failed to deliver. The potential was definitely there, but each film faltered in its execution as neither McG nor Alan Taylor proved to be

First ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ Reactions Praise the Sequel as Best in the Franchise Since ‘T2’

The first reactions to Terminator: Dark Fate have made their way to the internet. Dark Fate may technically be the next installment in the long-running Terminator franchise but it's going to change up the story a little while reuniting frequent franchise player Arnold Schwarzenegger with The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day star Linda Hamilton. Hamilton returns as Terminator protagonist Sarah Connor while Schwarzenegger reprises his role as a now-tame Terminator (who is apparently named Carl?!) aligned with Sarah. The two Terminator franchise vets join newcomers Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Natalia Reyes, and Diego Boneta. Deadpool director …

Ghost Rider Series May Be Coming To Disney Plus

It’s all change for Marvel TV right now. With Kevin Feige becoming Marvel Studios’ Chief Creative Officer, he’s assumed control of every aspect of the company’s properties. This means he decides what goes when it comes to film, comic books and TV. It also means that Marvel TV as we know it is dead and that existing projects are being cancelled or quietly wound up.

One of the casualties was the planned Ghost Rider show starring Gabriel Luna on Hulu. This was one of the first cancellations to have been announced, though there’s now talk that Feige is eager to move forward on a Disney Plus version of the character.

At least, that’s according to the Lords of the Long Box YouTube channel, which claimed on its most recent episode that Feige wants to make a series starring Johnny Blaze. This is the version of

Terminator: Dark Fate & The Grudge Reboot Are Both Rated-r, Here's Why

Terminator: Dark Fate & The Grudge Reboot Are Both Rated-r, Here's Why
Terminator: Dark Fate and the reboot of The Grudge are going to be quite a bit dark, as each movie has officially been given an R-rating. While the first three installments of the Terminator series were rated R, the fourth and fifth movies Salvation and Genisys were given PG-13 ratings, meaning Dark Fate will be the first R-rated Terminator movie since Rise of the Machines.

According to the MPAA, Terminator: Dark Fate was given its R-rating for "language throughout, violence, and brief nudity." As for The Grudge, both the original American version from 2004 and its 2006 sequel were rated PG-13, though the direct-to-video third movie was R-rated. The new movie's R-rating is due to "disturbing violence and bloody images, terror and some language."

Because Sarah Connor was killed off in the third Terminator movie, Dark Fate brings back Linda Hamilton in the role by only acknowledging the first two installments. Arnold Schwarzenegger

Sarah Connor Races in To Blow Away Some Terminators in a New Clip and TV Spots For Terminator: Dark Fate

It’s great to see that people are excited about producer James Cameron and director Tim Miller’s Terminator: Dark Fate movie. I’ve enjoyed what I’ve seen from it so far and we’ve got some more cool stuff to share with you today!

We’ve got a new clip featuring Linda Hamilton’s Sarah Connor racing in to save the day by blowing away a couple of Terminators like a badass. Then we’ve also got two new TV spots that offer a few new bits of exciting footage.

One of the most exciting things about this movie is that Hamilton is back as Sarah Connor and according to Miller, this movie will wrap up and resolve Sarah’s journey, so I guess we shouldn’t expect to see her pop up in any sequels. Do you think they will kill off her character in this movie?

Terminator: Dark Fate Clip Reintroduces Sarah Connor to the Apocalypse Guns Blazing
We've got a brand new clip from Terminator: Dark Fate which finally welcomes back Sarah Connor to the franchise, properly this time. Genisys, for all of its failings, did try and bring things back to their roots, by bringing back Connor. Though, it was Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke taking up the mantle. This time around, we're finally getting Linda Hamilton back as the heart and soul of the sci-fi franchise. And she's coming out guns blazing.

The clip showcases an extended sequence that has been teased in the trailers quite a bit. We see our new Terminator, played by Gabriel Luna, attacking a bridge. A truck then speeds onto said bridge, screeching to a halt before Sarah Connor comes stepping out cool, calm and collected. Connor then proceeds to fire a huge gun at Luna's Terminator, before blasting him off of the bridge. Then she pulls out a full-on rocket launcher,

Terminator: Dark Fate TV Trailer Introduces Carl the Terminator to Sarah Connor
During this year's Comic-Con, we learned the somewhat perplexing news that Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800 has a very conventional name in Terminator: Dark Fate. Now, we get to see that name put to use in an extended TV trailer that shows off quite a bit of brand-new footage. Here, we get to see Sarah Connor reconnect with the old T-800, but she doesn't appear to be very happy shaking his hand.

An early image of Arnold Schwarzenegger reprising his role as the iconic T-800 cyborg from the original James Cameron directed Terminator arrived over the summer. And it shows the action legend wielding a giant machine gun, standing in front of a white van. Look closely and you'll notice 'Carl's Draperies' painted on the side of this van, along with the phone number '888-512-1984'. That is a direct reference to the year Terminator debuted in theaters.
