Wonder Woman: Bloodlines Blu-ray Release Date And Extras Revealed

Once we’re ready to put 2019 behind us, I’m confident that we’ll be able to say this year was a great time for DC animation. In my view, Reign of the Supermen, Justice League vs. The Fatal Five and Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were each impressive to varying degrees, with Batman: Hush dazzling audiences most recently.

If those weren’t enough, the talented folks behind these flicks have one more ace up their sleeve, that being Wonder Woman: Bloodlines. For those not up to speed, they should know this’ll be an original tale developed for the direct-to-video market, as opposed to an adaptation of any specific comic book. Furthermore, it’ll indeed take place within the New 52-inspired continuity begun by Justice League: War – only it’s set earlier on the timeline.

Before now, there were only unconfirmed reports regarding when Bloodlines will arrive on

‘Legion’: Down the Rabbit Hole With Lauren Tsai – From Reality Star to FX Time Traveler
[Editor’s Note: The following contains minor spoilers from “Legion” Season 3 through Episode 5, “Chapter 24.”

Before Lauren Tsai played a time traveler on “Legion,” she packed in several careers in her 21 years. A newcomer to the acting world, Tsai is also a model and illustrator, but is probably best known as a reality star for her run on the Japanese-language Netflix/Fuji TV series, “Terrace House.”

During the time that Tsai appeared on “Terrace House: Aloha State,” she held her first gallery opening in Hawaii and then eventually left the show to pursue modeling in Japan. “I did my first solo gallery show when I was on the show. I put so much of myself into that, and it was terrifying to have my work out there,” she said in an interview with IndieWire. “That was the first time I ever showed my work publicly.”

Some reality stars – such as David Giuntoli and Jamie Chung – have parlayed their reality fame into acting careers,

New DC Animated Shorts Coming

Jim Dandy May 12, 2019

Sgt. Rock, Adam Strange, the Phantom Stranger, Sandman's Death, and Batman: Death in the Family are all getting the DC animated treatment.

A new series of DC Animated Shorts are coming in 2019, and the list is full of surprises. DC and Warner Brothers Animation announced a slate of five short animated stories led by five very different characters - Batman, Sgt. Rock, Adam Strange, the Phantom Stranger, and Sandman’s Death - and created by some of the heaviest hitters in the DC animated orbit.

This is Death’s first appearance in non-comics media. Her story sounds a little bit like Death: The High Cost of Living, the miniseries created by Neil Gaiman and Chris Bachalo - manic pixie Endless girl meets an artist and helps him work through his personal issues to come to grips with his artistic legacy and inevitable demise. It’s produced and directed by Justice League vs.

Five new DC Showcase animated shorts announced, including Sgt. Rock and Batman: Death in the Family

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation has announced five new DC Showcase animated shorts will roll out between 2019 and 2020 in Sgt. Rock, Adam Strange, Death, The Phantom Stranger and Batman: Death in the Family.

While details on Batman: Death in the Family are being kept under wraps for the time being (presumably its a part-adaptation of – or at least inspired by – Jim Starlin’s classic 1988 story arc), we do have official synopses and details for the other four shorts:

Sgt. Rock is executive produced and directed by Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series) from a script by award-winning comics writers Louise Simonson & Walter Simonson and Tim Sheridan (Reign of the Supermen). The original tale finds battle-weary Sgt. Rock thinking he has seen everything that World War II can dish out. But he is in for the surprise of his life when he is assigned to lead a company

Each of the five shorts – entitled Sgt. Rock, Adam Strange, Death, The Phantom Stranger and Batman: Death in the Family – opens with a new, live-action branding sequence that features a few Easter Eggs specially added for observant fans.

Batman: Death In The Family To Anchor New DC Showcase Animated Shorts

If you’ve been collecting DC animated movies for some time, then you probably remember the Showcase shorts from nearly a decade ago. For those unfamiliar, these truncated stories allowed for the likes of the Spectre, Jonah Hex and Green Arrow to shine alongside whichever feature film they complemented. Not long after, each were compiled on a separate home video release, Superman/Shazam: The Return of Black Adam, which was considerably meatier than its brethren but still technically a short itself.

Now, after a lengthy hibernation, the concept has been resurrected. Soon enough, cult favorites such as Sgt. Rock, Adam Strange, Death and the Phantom Stranger will stand next to whatever corresponding animated flicks Warner Bros. choose. And much like before, each of those will join a lengthier short in the form of Batman: Death in the Family in one handsome Blu-ray package later on in 2020.

Previously, the whole Death
