Unlike Orson Welles, he actually uses the iconic Rosebud sled in Citizen Kane (1941).
Played Orson Welles as a child in Citizen Kane (1941) and Thomas Mitchell's son in The Sullivans (1944). Mitchell had won an Oscar for Stagecoach (1939), a movie that Welles had seen more than forty times while preparing the shooting of "Citizen Kane".
His most famous role, Charles Foster Kane as a child in Citizen Kane (1941), is described as being born in Colorado. Buddy Swan passed away in Colorado.
