Roy Stewart was born on May 15, 1925 in Jamaica. He was an actor, known for Live and Let Die (1973), Doctor Who (1963) and The Avengers (1961). He died on October 27, 2008 in London, England.

Trivia (4)

In 1954 he opened one of the first gyms in the U.K. that allowed all races to train there. In the '60s he also opened the Globe, a Caribbean restaurant and nightclub in Bayswater, remaining in charge of it until his death.
Survived by two daughters, two brothers and two grandchildren.
One of seven brothers, he arrived in England from Jamaica in the late 1940's. He had ambitions of becoming a doctor, but changed his plans after appearing in several small roles on stage. His first work on screen was as a stuntman.
Has acted in both the Eon James Bond franchise and the Doctor Who franchise.
