Jim Neidhart was born on February 8, 1955 in Montebello, California, USA as James Henry Neidhart. He was an actor, known for Eastern Championship Wrestling (1993), Saturday Night's Main Event (1985) and WWF Championship Wrestling (1972). He was married to Ellie Hart and Joy Small. He died on August 13, 2018 in Florida, USA.

He got the name "Anvil" when he won an Anvil Tossing contest at the Calgary Stampede festival. Stu Hart paid him $500 to do it.

Ironically, prior to his death in 2018, Neidhart and Bret, who tagged together as the Hart Foundation in the early 90s, were the only surviving members of the faction.
He and Ellie have three children - Jennifer, a master gourmet chef and caterer for one of the most prestigious companies in Calgary, Natalie, and Kristen ("Muffy"), who was married in early June 2007.

In late 1991, Jim Neidhart and Owen Hart formed the tag team, the New Foundation. Unfortunately, it only lasted until early the following year when Neidhart left the WWE.
Briefly wrestled as a singles wrestler, after the Hart Foundation team had disbanded in 1991.
Was fired from the WWE in February 1992, due to an alleged incident behind the scenes.
