Butler's translation of Anton Chekhov's play, "The Cherry Orchard," at the Cripplegate Theatre in England with the Ministry of Labour Dramatic Society players including Rita Gallally, Harold Dwyer, Clarice Collins, Winifred Maher, Percy Nash, and David Brain in the cast. Blake Greenwood was director.

While filming Son of Dracula, Louise Allbritton and her costar Robert Paige were constantly playing jokes on their cast mates. One day, costar Pat Moriarty and Robert Paige were filming a scene where they flip open her (Allbritton's) character's coffin. They were astonished upon opening the lid to find Allbritton inside, completely naked.
