  • She authored "Life After Harry: My Adventures in Widowhood" after her husband died. The book became a best seller.
  • After World War II, she wrote scripts for radio soap operas, e.g., "Stella Dallas," "Out Gal Sunday" and "Backstage Wife."
  • She appeared on the stage in a Chicago production of Neil Simon's "Barefoot in the Park."
  • (1966) She acted in Rosemary Casey's play, "Late Love," at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey with Mark O'Daniels and Bert Thorn in the cast. Wayne Carson was director.
