“Power” star Lela Loren
is joining the ranks of fictional galactic leaders with a series regular role on Season 2 of Netflix
’s “Altered Carbon
,” the streaming service revealed on Tuesday.
For the eight-episode second season of the sci-fi series, which is led by Anthony Mackie
and set to debut in 2020, Loren will play Danica Harlan, who is described as “the charming and ambitious governor of planet Harlan’s World. She has the support of the people, but keeps an uneasy grip on the political players who surround her.”
According to Netflix, Loren has already completed production for Season 2, as her series regular role on “Altered Carbon
” had been kept under wraps during filming.
