Quite different to its predecessor, and is much more traditional in its storytelling. Still interesting.

Powerful film. A bit long, but explores a lot of the possibilities of first contact with aliens thoroughly with a human dimension never forgotten.

Low budget sci-fi comedy. The humour may not appeal to all.

Yes it's bad, but you can enjoy its ridiculousness.
