I first heard of this movie twenty years ago, and after a lot of searching I found it. Then I found out that the international ending and the Russian ending weren't the same, so I put off watching it. After a random fit of annoyance, I decided to watch the shorter version, which was still great. But it still bugged me that I couldn't see the long one. I even looked on Ozon (the Russian Amazon) to see if they had the long version, which they didn't. After a lot of digging, I found the original ending online, and while my Russian isn't that good, I could follow the ending. It was a good movie and I enjoyed it a lot, but I can't believe how hard it was for me to find any version of it, let alone the Russian ending.
