• Errors in geography: Houses in the movie are one storied and clean almost Chinese-style. Houses in Northern Russia (Karelia) are two storied, rugged, made of tar-treated logs, because of cold climate.
  
  
• Miscellaneous: Heroic Russian women in the movie are dressed in Red Army uniforms with components from Chinese culture mixed in, such as shiny drinking flasks, dressy boots, and fancy officer's belts that could not be used by recruits in training in the real Red Army during WWII.
