Own the rights?
I read a previous review about "kick ass lesbians save the world". Note: an actresses' previous role as a lesbian does not mean she plays a lesbian in every movie. Just a little tip for those thinking of watching this film expecting something that does not feature :) Now back to the film. I expected worse due to the low score but I believe that is a little harsh. The script has some nice sarcasm and amusing moments, the acting is really not that bad - sure the plot line is a little cheesy, but the film is quite tongue in cheek. The main actresses do a good job of portraying strong female leads; the son plays the nerdy geek well; the football coach is a tad wooden in places, but hey, three iffy scenes won't kill you. Expect to be lightly entertained and you won't be disappointed. Expect an action packed, CGI heavy movie with big name stars and you will.
