Nothing to write home about....

Saw the first episode on NBC yesterday after all the hype from reviewers. I usually don't watch too much TV since there isn't much to watch, but the kudos for this show were so unanimous that I had to see what all the hoopla was about. Well, the best thing about this show were the reviews. Apart from the fact that the tape skipped innumerable times and that I lost sound and image often (at first I thought this was a new artifice!), the show really did not live up to the billing. I would describe it as corny, confusing, and disparate. The characters do not solicit any sympathy or interest and the story ..... I am still searching for the story. Will avoid future episodes.
