I'm seventeen and still enjoy the occasional cartoon and I'm surprised at how good some actually are, even better than some live action shows, but this is not one of them. This cartoon isn't all that awful, it has some moments BUT the dialog that spews from the character's mouths are things loser wannabe skater boys would say which make the show almost unbearable. None of the characters are fun either the best being characters that don't come back every episode. The main character Jaden isn't a very likable hero, he has nothing at all that should appeal to kids unless they wanna be hated by their classmates. The only decent recurring character is the main lead girl and the Chinese boy. The biggest problem is the character designs. Maybe if this was 1986 the designs would be passable but the characters are UGLY beyond reason especially the head teacher and the most freakish and ugly looking hair is from the nerdy kid with blue hair, he makes you wanna turn away while he's on the screen, his hair looks like it weighs more than him. All the other's hair is something nerdy kids back in the 80s would try on to fit in and everyone except the background characters look hideous. This show is good for when NOTHING and I mean NOTHING else is on, and for some reason when you force yourself to watch it, it gets your attention and you may find yourself watching it and actually entertained. This serves best as something to place the kids in front of so you can handle other matters. Want a cartoon you can watch with your children or little brothers and sisters? Try Avatar the Last Airbender or better yet, put the T.V on ABC and watch LOST.
