The new Nicolas Cage action-thriller Next is about a guy who can see two minutes into the future, a precognitive ability that isn't too hard to believe since audiences for most Cage action-thrillers usually can tell what's going to happen well past the two-minute mark. The predictability here goes hand in hand with a lack of tension because anyone who can see into the future certainly can dodge any fist or bullet...
