Ok a short while ago I saw some website, might have been an msn link which said that the 4 best ways of meeting new people and potential dates are the following:
1) online dating
2) at work
3) meeting friends of friends
4) pubs and clubs

Does everyone here think these are the best ways to meet new men and women?
Do any of you think some of these are bad ways of meeting people?
Have any of you had good or bad experiences through any of these?
can anyone think of any other ways? maybe even better than those 4 ways of meeting people?

2) is not good for me because everyone I work with is a lot older and married and 4) is not very good for me either with girls calling me minger or giving me dirty looks in the past so I just go with mates and have fun rather than meeting women.
3) is ok i guess but none of my friends have any single mates at the moment.

The reason I set up this topic is simply to put all our collective thoughts together and think of other ways of meeting people other than sticking to online.

Also if we get lots of ideas to put here other people might try something they may never have thought of.
