Nice mixture of humour and sentimentality, 18 December 2001

A teenage girl is in "love" with the school's young cook, so her grandmother, well trained in "the old ways", bakes some magical love-cookies for her. The result, of course, is not what we expect. Nice, well-written charmer, exquisitely filmed and superbly acted: most people should enjoy it.
