One day while flipping through the channels I came upon this novela. After watching just one episode I was hooked onto it. I don't even speak Spanish fluently so I even got my dad (who does speak fluent) to sit down everyday and watch with me for translation. Before long he, my mom and my sister were hooked on it. I've seen other novelas after this one. Mainly just the teen ones...and this one is by far the best one. With Eduardo Verastegui and Kuno Becker leading the way how could it not be? Although some of the story lines were slow at times, the storyline featuring Julieta was entertaining and heartbreaking. The storyline with Manuel and Jacqueline was equally emotional. And, Ruben was just so lovable. Even when he was being a jerk to someone, he still had a certain charm to him that you loved him anyway. The only thing that didn't work for me was Jose Luis having Jacqueline all in love with him. Definitely unbelievable because she was absolutely gorgeous! There is no way, on Earth, that that would happen in real life. Him and Fernanda...believable. Him and Jacqueline...yeah right!
