  • The director's cut featured no interviews whatsoever, letting the dialogue from Ed Wood films tell most of the story; Dudley Manlove ("Eros" in "Plan 9") was approached to narrate. Rhino insisted on interviews, including both Dolores Fuller and Kathy Wood. Both women refused to participate if footage from "Love Feast" was included (scenes of Ed Wood in drag, in a dog collar, licking a woman's boot). The footage was excised.
