Trivia:

Originally set on an island in New England, but was filmed in the San Juan Strait in Washington State on the west coast due to weather and financial reasons.

Goofs:

Revealing mistakes: The sisters have a 'Dualit' toaster in their kitchen. At one point the toaster makes a loud 'ping' noise and the toast shoots out. That model of Dualit doesn't do that. It has a lever that you have to use to manually lift out the toast. It doesn't ping either, it has a dial that counts down the seconds with a clockwork grind, and then just stops.

Way better than the score would indicate

Light and easy, suspenseful in parts, funny, charming. How you'd expect normal ladies to act if they happened to be witches. I spent a pleasant Sunday afternoon with this film. Best part is when they use the PTA phone tree to recruit a coven. Watch it, you won't be sorry
