Whilst filming at the Park Lane Hotel, on Park Lane in London, some 30 extras had to be called in at short notice when the production team noticed the frequency of passing red double-decker buses, a common enough occurrence in London, but not in New York, where the scene is set. The extras were used outside the hotel to try to block the buses out. moreGoofs:

This movie wasn't great but it was enjoyable. I'm not a big fan of Patrick Dempsey either (he'll always be just a TV actor to me). That being said, the movie was legitimately funny but could have been much funnier had they had someone like Owen Wilson or Vince Vaughn as the lead role, both of whom are much more adept to the style of comedy they were going for. I did like how there wasn't very much "cheese" considering it's a romantic comedy but some of the storyline is very unrealistic in terms of real life. Women will thoroughly enjoy it while guys will be indifferent. For all the guys who will take their girl to see it, Michelle Monaghan is great eye candy.
