Spanish Teaser Poster for 'Predators'?

Spanish website Aullidos posted the following image that they claim is the forthcoming international teaser poster for Predators, 20th Century Fox's latest entry in the franchise arriving in theaters July 9, 2010. Personally, I think it looks like a hack Photoshop job, so I'd take this with a serious grain of salt until confirmed. Directed by Nimrod Antal and starring Topher Grace, Adrien Brody, Walton Goggins, Laurence Fishburne, Alice Braga, Danny Trejo, Walt Goggins, Oleg Taktarov, Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, Louiz Ozawa and Derek Mears, in this version, a group of humans will find themselves stranded on a planet home to Predators and must survive the horrors they encounter. …

Sundance '10: Trailer Debut for Adam Green's Chiller 'Frozen'

With the Sundance Film Festival only weeks away, Anchor Bay Entertainment has posted the first ever trailer for Adam Green's Frozen in QuickTime HD over at Apple.com. First Ever Look at Screen Gems' 'The Roommate', Hi-Res 'Priest' Teaser

Bloody Disgusting was provided with the first ever image from Screen Gems' The Roommate, which stars Leighton Meester, Cam Gigandet, Minka Kelly, Aly Michalka, Matt Lanter, Frances Fisher and Danneel Harris. Directed by Christian E. Christiansen, the thriller arrives in theater September 17. The story centers on Sara, a college student randomly assigned to a freshman dorm with a stranger named Rebecca. They start off as friends but things turn deadly as Rebecca begins to target people in Sara's life. In addition, we've got a hi-res look at a super, super, super old teaser poster for Scott Stewart's Priest, the TokyoPop adaptation arriving in theaters August 20. Platinum Dunes Updates 'Friday 2' and 'Elm Street' Reshoots

Platinum Dunes producer Brad Fuller updated their official blog this morning with an update on two of their franchise projects. Titled "It's time to clear some things up," Fuller addresses the forthcoming reshoots for A Nightmare On Elm Street, their remake of the popular franchise that stars Jackie Earle Haley as the new Freddy Krueger. In addition, he also talks about the progress of Friday The 13th Part 2 3D, which was removed from Warner Bros. Pictures' release slate a few weeks back. Elm Street arrives in theaters April 30, 2010. Directed by Sam Bayer, a group of suburban teenagers share one common bond: they are all being stalked by Freddy Krueger (Jackie Earle Haley), a horribly disfigured killer who hunts them in their dreams. As long as they stay awake, they can protect one anotherbut when they sleep, there is no escape. …

Robert Rodriguez, Danny Trejo on 'Machete', and Potential Sequels!

During a set visit to the new film Predators directed by Nimrod Antal and currently filming at Troublemaker Studios in Austin, Texas, Bloody-Disgusting had the chance to catch up with Robert Rodriguez (who is producing the film) and Danny Trejo (one of the stars) to ask them about their upcoming film MacHete, which is being released next April. Trejo gave us a little more background on the project, which actually was an idea Rodriguez had back in the early days of their collaboration. "Everybody thinks that 'Machete' came out of a trailer, but it didnt," said Trejo. "Robert told me that he wanted to do this movie called 'Machete' when we were doing 'Desperado'." The actor also hinted that the film might possibly have a few similarities to Rodriguez's 'From Dusk 'Til Dawn', although whether that means we'll see anything more horror-related in 'Machete' remains to be seen. …

Robert Rodriguez Updates 'Sin City 2'

It such a bummer having to talk Sin City with the sudden passing of Brittany Murphy, who starred as Shellie in the 2005 live-action adaptation to Frank Miller's classic graphic novel. While she wasn't a huge character, who knows what role she might have had in the forthcoming sequel that's been in development hell for over four years now. While on the set of Predators, Bloody Disgusting's Chris Eggertsen chatted it up with producer Robert Rodriguez who told reporters that while Sin City 2 is still on his radar, it's not his next directing project. "We still talk about doing that as early/later next year, but I havent gotten into that yet," Rodriguez told us... More …
