Dexter’s season opener attracted 1.5 million viewers, proving that it’s still one of the strongest shows on a cable network.

Be warned before reading the rest of this article that it will include Major Spoilers so unless you either watched the premiere yourself (and why would you really be interested in reading this if you didn’t?) or if you just don’t care about whether or not you’re spoiled, you might want to stop reading.

Good to go? Let’s begin then.

TV Review: Showtime’s ‘Dexter’ Opens Fourth Season With Amazing Episode

27 September 2009 10:25 AM, PDT | HollywoodChicago.com | See recent HollywoodChicago.com news »

Chicago – Everyone’s favorite serial killer and family man, Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) is back in tonight’s excellent fourth season premiere of the award-winning “Dexter”. Last season was good-not-great when compared to the first two installments but the opening arc of the fourth season hints at a creatively reinvigorated program that’s clicking on all levels. “Dexter” looks like one of the best shows of the fall.

Television Rating: 4.5/5.0 “I kill people - not exactly the perfect husband.” “Dexter” has always been about how a man with a monstrously dark and deadly habit conforms to normal society and deals with domesticity. In the opening episode of season four, Dexter is constantly being pulled in opposite directions by his life as a new father. Blood pools have been replaced by car pools and swimming pools.

Dexter: Season Four Premiere (TV Review)

25 September 2009 1:42 PM, PDT | Fangoria | See recent Fangoria news »

I can’t believe they killed Julie Benz!!! I can’t believe they knocked off the former Angel actress, who plays Rita Bennett, in “Living the Dream,” the fourth-season premiere of the hit Showtime series Dexter. Talk about jolting your viewers! This ranks right up there in TV shockers with J.R. being shot, Henry Blake dying on M*A*S*H and David Faustino exiting the cast of Married…With Children. Wait…sorry. That last one isn’t true. And neither is the first one.

Rita is alive and well and still married to Dexter (Michael C. Hall) at the end of “Living the Dream” (which debuts this Sunday at 9 p.m.). But I fibbed for a reason—actually two, and one of them isn’t ’cause I wanted to be a misleading jackass. First and foremost, I wanted an opening line that grabbed people’s attention. And secondly, »

Blake Adds a Dash of Color to the Emmys Red Carpet

20 September 2009 11:54 PM, PDT | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

There were many gorgeous fashions on display last night on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards. In the first installment of our look at what the ladies wore there was a lot of black or white, but not at all basic - Amy Poehler went dark, January Jones picked a light color with a daring cutout bodice, and Chloe Sevigny had a little bit of both worlds with her polka dot number. Right now January has a slight lead in Fab's best dressed poll - who do you think deserves the title? Drew Barrymore switched things up a little with her peach gown, but it was Blake Lively who stopped traffic in her plunging Versace. Fab and Bella have the rundown on the style and beauty news of the night, and make sure to check back for the other half of our report on the ladies red carpet! View »
