Kellan Lutz took a break from promoting New Moon to attend a Sony Holiday preview party last night in La. Also at the bash was his rumored girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord, though they managed to keep the kissing to a minimum this time around. The duo was joined by Michael C. Hall, who posed for a rare photo with wife and Dexter costar Jennifer Carpenter. Soon it will be back to work for Kellan as he heads into a weekend of promoting his latest Twilight film - we'll be at the press junket, so make sure to let us know what you'd like to ask! Dexter, meet Trinity. Trinity, Kyle Butler.
Our favorite serial killer befriended Arthur Mitchell (aka The Trinity Killer) this week, disguising himself as a guy named Kyle whose wife recently left him. For a full recap of "If I Had a Hammer," follow our link now.
Similar to last season with Jimmy Smits and Michael C. Hall, we could watch Hall and John Lithgow interact for hours. We can't wait to actually do so as season four unfolds, but this is the one drawback to the show:
There's only so many angles Dexter can take. Each season, he gets close to someone similar to himself, only to end up taking this individual's life in the most entertaining, gory ritual on television.
Don't get us wrong, there are much worse formulas on TV than hire a well-respected guest star; make him creepy; introduce him to Dexter; watch the intriguing cat-and-mouse game that follows; rinse; repeat. »

Chapter 3 of the Dexter web series has just been released. Let me find out that Dex can do accents to? He throws on a redneck accent in this chapter, but I'm drawing a blank as to whether or not he ever did a similar accent/dialect on TV. Regardless, I'm thinking Michael C. Hall would be a great villain in the next big Pixar movie. Who's with me? In Chapter 3, Dexter finally makes the move on his latest prey, Alex Timmons. It would seem that, even as early as October 2003, Dexter was using that deadly syringe to take down his adversaries. All hail the Dark Passenger. »

Is it me, or is just the sound of voice over by Michael C. Hall chilling enough to give a person nightmares? These animated webisodes feel much more dramatic than some of the recent motion comics we’ve seen from Marvel and DC Comics. And, I think that has a lot to do with the narration. Most of the motion comics, like “Watchmen,” had robotic voice over actors that stole momentum from the overall piece. But, you won’t find that with Dex. This is the original character, taking you on dark journey down memory lane. In Chapter 2 of "Dexter: Early Cuts," we learn just why Dexter has the Marine, Alex Timmons, in his crosshairs. »

Wasn't it great to see the old, dark Dexter back on this week's new episode?
While the family dynamic has been interesting and humorous at times this season, it's grown stale. We get it. Dexter needs literal time to kill, and he can't get it with Rita and the kids in town.
That changed this week, and the prey our favorite mass murderer chose to pursue made for a fascinating game of cat and mouse. Granted, the show - via visions of Harry - hit viewers over the head a bit too hard with the comparison between the woman that killed her family and Dexter, but Michael C. Hall knocked it out of the park during his kill scene, when he realized that he did care about Rita and the children.
You can read a full recap of "Dex Takes a Holiday" now.
Meanwhile, sorry Lundy, but it was also nice to see you go. »
